MACA Music Festival 2015: Tickets Are Now Available

    (Macao, Jul. 31, 2015) – Macau Foundation presents: show for citizens ‘MACA Music Festival 2015 --- Guitar: the Soul of Music’ will be on September 20 (Sunday) at Sands Theatre. The event is hosted by the Macau Association of Composers, Authors and Publishers (MACA) and sponsored by the Macau Foundation and by Sands® Macao.

     The concert adopts the theme of guitars and provides a platform for Macau and Hong Kong guitarists to join forces on stage. Guest performers include Hong Kong Redline Music band Supper Moment, Sun Entertainment band Zolarwind, singer-songwriter Terence Siufay, Macanese João Gomes and Band with their signature traditional Portuguese music and rock fusion, the Winners of the MACA Song Writers’ Quest 2015 Viviana LO and Bobo LOI, etc. In addition, a special session will be attributed to Mr. Lawrence LEE, the former vocalist of the local band Special Force. LEE was the forerunner of local rock music, passed away in 2013.

   At the door of the theatre also sets a collection of 30 guitars, showcasing their revolution. The audience will have the rare opportunity to see and understand the stories behind ‘the soul of music’.

   Standard ticket price is MOP 100 only; discounted ticket is MOP 50 only. Members of MACA, children under the age of 12, full time students, and adults above the age of 65 are eligible for the 50% off discounts.
