MACA attended the Asia-Pacific Committee meeting held in Taipei

MACA Executive Manager Rain   Chang attended  the   Asia-Pacific  Committee  meeting  held    by
Music  Copyright Society of Chinese Taipei (MÜST). The meeting is held  during  12 to 13 April 2011
in  Taipei  with  the  objective  of  new  media  licensing development in the region  and  update  on
licensing of satellite broadcast station.

Societies    attended    the  APC    meeting   included  Taipei   (MUST),    Australia   (APRA),   Canada (SOCAN),     United  Kingdom    (PRS),       Spain  (SGAE),      Korea  (KOMCA),     Philippines (FILSCAP), Malaysia  (MACP),   Hong  Kong  (CASH),    Japan  (JASRAC),   Thailand  (MCT)  and  Macau  (MACA).
During  the   meeting, afflicted  Societies   showed their concern on the licensing situation of  their
representing  music  in  Macau,  especially  in  Radio  and  TV  broadcasting.They all expect  MACA
to  strive  for  the  goal  of  promoting  copyright  awareness  of  the  people  in  Macau.
