• MACA Pop Music Festival Macau Foundation presents “shows for citizens”

    The MACA Pop Music Festival, the first music festival of Macau Foundation presents “shows for citizens-----productions in Macau, passion for Macau”, was held by MACA (Macau Association of Composers, Authors & Publishers) on Saturday night in multifunctional auditorium of UGAMM
    Macau (União Geral das Associações dos Moradores de Macau) and successfully concluded.

     

    Local pop singers and bands performed for the most part of the show and Shiga Lin, Alfred Hui from Hong Kong were the special guests.

     

    Local band Scamper, performing three pieces of original pop songs, was the first band
    performance of the night. Then Fall To Fly and L.A.V.Y. came and turned up the hit of the show.

     

    After the high energy of band music, singer Anna Choi and AJ sang lyric songs created  by a
    young composer and author Ondina Chan. Arie and John performed with their strong style
    since they had taken part in different competitions and stages. Later on, famous singer
    Ana Yang and Lo Ka Hou brought two songs named “Yi Ge Ren Shui” and “Chun Ren” and
    lighted up the hit again.

     

    Near the end of the show, audiences were drowning in the two songs “I’m still loving you” and “The End” sung by Hong Kong pop singer Shiga Lin. The last but not least, Alfred Hui pop
    singer from Hong Kong as well, performed the  two songs “Hun You Tai Xu” and “Qing Chun
    Song”. His fans enjoyed and were addicted to the songs.Ending the show, MACA thanked all
    the singers, composers and authors who were  highly committed to support the original works of local music, UGAMMMacau and Coca-cola for sponsorship.

     

    MACA has committed to improving and developing the local music industry, creating different
    stages and chances for music creators to communicate and share. Besides, the association
    also commits itself to protecting copyright, improving public awareness of copyright.
